Tyke 1 Victorious on the Road
The Georgian Shores Tyke 1 Lightning opened thier road season with a pair of victories.
December 6 found the Lightning in Feversham taking on the Hawks. While Feversham may be one of the coldest arenas in the area, the Lightning soon started to heat things up in a match that would see every player on the ice earn at least one point.
Aidan Ritchie made his first start between the pipes stopping all but one on the way to the Lightning victory. Jake Murray was a dominant figure at the other end of the rink scoring multiple times and soon becoming a thorn in the blocker side of the Hawk's netminder. Liam McIntyre, Noah Ostermeier-Johnson, Jaden Slowiak and Drew Acres all contributed both goals and assists on the way to the win.
Strong defence coupled with excellent passing saw Reid Smith, Luke Jack, Hudson Potts, and Evan Jack all contribute with assists on the way to a 18-1 Lightning final.
