Novice Rep Continues to Roll
The Georgian Shores Novice Rep Lightning continued their road domination in Georgian Bay Minor Hockey League play on Sunday afternoon by downing the Coldwater Wildcats 9-1.

Impressively, every player dressed for the Reps registered at least one point despite the team not scoring its first goal until just over four minutes left in the second period. Once they found their legs, however, the high-flying Novice boys would add a whopping seven goals in the third period alone.

The Lightning, who have now rung off three consecutive victories on the road and are an impressive 5-2 away from home this season, received goals from Cameron Samson (2), Jaren Pirie (2), Austin Maxwell (2), Dylan McFadden, Logan Burnham and Travis Brown.

Contributing assists were Pirie (3), Burnham (3), Quinton Letourneau (2), Nathan Mead (2), Noah Ruffett (2), Ronin Riddell, Denon Taylor, Cooper Allen and McFadden.

On Friday night in Creemore, the Reps skated away with a 4-3 victory over the Valley Hawks.

Scoring for Georgian Shores were McFadden (2), Burnham and Pirie, with assists from Burnham, Pirie and Brown.

The Novice Boys began their most recent win streak with a 2-1 win over the Honeywood Hurricanes on Wednesday.

Cameron Samson scored both tallies for the Lightning while Justin Acres pitched in with one assist and goaltender Carter Green was a wall between the pipes.

The third place Novice Reps (7-4) host the league leading and unbeaten Dundalk Storm (11-0-1) on Tuesday night in Meaford. Game time is 7 p.m.
