Atom Rep Tryouts 2019/20 Season
Dear Players and Parents,
Welcome to the 2019-2020 Atom Rep Tryouts.
My name is Tim Newton and I am excited to be taking on the role of Head Coach for the upcoming season.
This email is to inform you of the tryout process.There will be 4 tryouts: September 25th, 26th & 27th @ 6-7pm, September 28th @1:30 - 3:00 pm (as posted on The Georgian Shores Website).
Every player is guaranteed 2 skates. It is anticipated that first cuts/releases will take place after the 2nd tryout (September 26th). All players and a parent or guardian will meet with me individually after the 2nd tryout. At this meeting, players will either be released or invited to join the 3rd tryout session. The same process will follow after the 3rd tryout (and 4th if necessary).
Any players intending to play Local League this season should confirm this with me ASAP. These players are welcome to attend the first 2 tryout sessions.
During the tryouts, players will be evaluated on:Skating, passing, puck handling, shooting, game play, attitude and effort.I wish all players good luck and look forward to seeing them on the ice!
