The Ontario Minor Hockey Association is highlighting and celebrating the critical and often overlooked role of hockey volunteers, bringing awareness during the annual Thank a Volunteer Week from February 26-March 3, 2024. We recognize the impact that volunteers have in delivering minor hockey across the province, from Association administration to managing a team. From working with municipalities to schedule or ice or ensuring players are registered for the season, to organizing community Hockey Gives Back events to creating a carpool schedule, these things all add up in the big picture. ...

The 2nd Annual Hockey Day in Georgian Shores was amazing!  Thank you to all of our members and to the visiting teams for all of the support towards our organization and our local food banks!  The table was bursting with food donations! The BVO and Meaford Food Bank received half a truck load each in food items as well as over $200 each in donations. We are so thankful for everyone’s generosity!
