Awards Banquet
Hello Georgian Shores Nation!

There has been a lot of discussion over how our awards night will proceed this year and our very dedicated banquet committee volunteers have ultimately decided to make it a simple, classy event with awards and dinner. A special, new GSMHA award will also be presented that night, Coach of the Year! The banquet committee will be requesting nominations so get your pens ready.

Banquet and awards night will be Sunday, April 15 from 4-7pm. Initiation, tyke and novice will be recognized from 4-5 pm. At approximately 5pm, Coach of the year will be awarded. Atom, peewee and bantam will be recognized from 6-7pm. All players are welcome to cheer on family and friends in other divisions and attend the entire evening's presentations.

From 5-6pm, a pasta dinner (pasta with a choice of sauce, caesar salad and garlic bread) will be catered by BVAA. The cost for dinner is $10 per adult and $5 per child. All players and family are invited. (You may elect to attend just the ceremony, dinner is optional $).

Additionally, the Mike Hammond Memorial tournament committee has donated some prizes that we will draw for prior to dinner being served. (Storybook park/Pampered Chef/The Best You/The Cheese Gallery)

Each family will be contacted by a team representative to organize dinner ticket sales and solicit nominations for coach of the year. Due to the short timeframe, we ask that all dinner tickets sales/nominations be given to your team representative by Wednesday, April 4.

On behalf of the Georgian Shores executive and the banquet committee, thank you and we hope to see everyone there!
