Pause on Hockey
Georgian Shores Families, as of Wednesday January 5th, all arenas will be closed. As a result the hockey season is paused until further notice. Stay safe and well!

The first ticket draw will take place this month at the Executive meeting. If you still need to hand in your tickets, please drop them off at the Thornbury arena and put them in the lock box. It is located in the equipment room. Please do so by 8:00 pm Jan 4th.
After that date, please email Heather, [email protected] to make arrangements.

THE FIRST GOAL IS HAVING FUN. The Timbits Minor Sports Program is a community-oriented sponsorship program that provides opportunities for kids aged four to nine to play house league sports. The philosophy of the program is not based on winning or losing, but on learning a new sport, making new friends, and just being a kid. Tim Hortons currently supports more than 300,000 children on teams in hockey, soccer, ringette, lacrosse, softball and baseball leagues in Canada and the United States. Our sponsorship includes jerseys, participation medals and a Timbits player gift for each player.

Apple Harvest Craft Show
The Apple Harvest Craft Show has become one of the largest in southern Ontario, attracting close to 200 artisans and crafters with a long waiting list wanting to participate. Proceeds from the annual Apple Harvest Craft Show are donated to a number of community projects.
