Georgian Shores Team Family Day Weekend
We hope all of our members had a great Family Day weekend!

5 teams travelled to tournaments over the weekend. 
U11 LL2, U11 LL3 & U13 LL2 travelled to Stoney Creek to their Winterfest Tournament. All teams represented GS well and had a lot of fun. 

U11 Rep travelled to South Huron to the Bill Batten Memorial. The team came home Finalists! Congratulations!

U13 Rep travelled to Oshawa to the Bob Black Tournament. Lots of great team building and fun was had.
 

Wishing all of the teams good luck as they continue in their Playoff journeys!

THE FIRST GOAL IS HAVING FUN. The Timbits Minor Sports Program is a community-oriented sponsorship program that provides opportunities for kids aged four to nine to play house league sports. The philosophy of the program is not based on winning or losing, but on learning a new sport, making new friends, and just being a kid. Tim Hortons currently supports more than 300,000 children on teams in hockey, soccer, ringette, lacrosse, softball and baseball leagues in Canada and the United States. Our sponsorship includes jerseys, participation medals and a Timbits player gift for each player.
