Georgian Shores MHA wants to celebrate the end of hockey with all our players and families with an in-person Recognition and Awards Ceremony!
DATE: Sunday, April 21st, 2024
LOCATION: Beaver Valley Community Centre
TIME: 1pm - 2:30pm (U7 - U9) ; 2:30pm - 5:30 (U11-U18) (Schedule Below)
All players and family are welcome to attend any part of the ceremonies. There will be small takeaways for all players and time for each team to take the stage. Coaches/Bench staff are welcome to use their stage time for speeches and to recognize each player individually if they would like.
We are also looking for Coach of the Year Nominations, Volunteer of the Year Award, and any hockey/team pics for the slide show.

Coach of the Year Description - is a model on and off the ice, demonstrates patience, effectively communicates, and motivates and encourages players. This Coach demonstrates a balanced approach between skill building, competitive play and ensuring all players have fun during their season.

Volunteer of the Year Description- Georgian Shores Minor Hockey would like to recognize the outstanding contributions, involvement and service to minor hockey with the Volunteer of the Year Award.
The Award recipient has displayed commitment to the ideals of minor hockey, has worked tirelessly for the improvement of the game and has made a notable impact on both the game and the players involved. The recipient must be active in hockey during the year of the award presentation.
