Food Drive
"Despite the cold, wet weather, the
Georgian Shores Bantam Rep players took to the streets in Meaford and Thornbury
on Saturday morning (Nov22) collecting food items for the local food banks. Zehrs
in Owen Sound donated some money, as well as a few community members, to allow
the purchase of some necessary items for food bank recipients. We were unable
to get to every home in both communities, but feel free to drop of a
nonperishable food item into a box located at the Meaford or Beaver
Valley arenas. These boxes will be at the arenas for a few more days.
