End of Year Banquet - Coach of the Year Award
Georgian Shores Year End Banquet is Sunday April 16th in the large hall at the Thornbury Community Centre. 

Coach of the Year Award Nominations- This award is selected by the banquet committee from written nominations submitted by our association members. If you would like to nominate one of our coaches for the Coach of the Year award, please email your nominations to [email protected]. Deadline date is April 7th, 2023. 


Coach of the Year Description -is a model on and off the ice, demonstrates patience, effectively communicates, and motivates and encourages players. This Coach demonstrates a balanced approach between skill building, competitive play and ensuring all players have fun during their season.

Apple Harvest Craft Show
The Apple Harvest Craft Show has become one of the largest in southern Ontario, attracting close to 200 artisans and crafters with a long waiting list wanting to participate. Proceeds from the annual Apple Harvest Craft Show are donated to a number of community projects.

THE FIRST GOAL IS HAVING FUN. The Timbits Minor Sports Program is a community-oriented sponsorship program that provides opportunities for kids aged four to nine to play house league sports. The philosophy of the program is not based on winning or losing, but on learning a new sport, making new friends, and just being a kid. Tim Hortons currently supports more than 300,000 children on teams in hockey, soccer, ringette, lacrosse, softball and baseball leagues in Canada and the United States. Our sponsorship includes jerseys, participation medals and a Timbits player gift for each player.
