 Georgian Shores U8 Jamboree Rules and Regulations

 The U8 Jamboree  will be held on February 1, 2026 at the Beaver Valley Community Center.

 This is an OMHA sanctioned Jamboree and will be operated according to OMHA Jamboree regulations

 

PLEASE RESPECT THE RULES, ARENA STAFF AND PARENT VOLUNTEERS.

 

All OMHA rules are in effect with the addition of the following:

 1. All teams must register one hour before their first scheduled game.  At this time, each team must produce original Approved Roster Sheet and Approved Affiliated Players List/Team officials.  At this time your team will receive their welcome package.

 2. Any damage to dressing rooms or the facility will be the responsibility of team officials.

 3. Dressing Rooms will be shared.  They will be assigned at the beginning of the day.  Your team will stay in the same dressing room so equipment can stay in the room.

 

4. No players will enter onto the ice surface before the Zamboni has left the ice.

 5. Teams must complete a Game Participant List prior to each modified game.  The ipad can be filled out at the registration desk.

 6. Only those players and Team Officials on the team’s approved roster are eligible to participate.

7. Game Length- It will be two 20 minute periods with a buzzer every 2 minutes.  40 minutes of play in total for each game.

 8. Flooding – We will flood the ice after every 2 games.

 9. The blue 4oz pucks will be used

 10.  Each half ice game will be assigned 1 referee

 11.  We will play 4 vs 4 with a face off at the beginning of each period.

 12. No scoring or standing will be recorded

 13. No penalties or offside/icing will be called.

 14. Teams will share player benches and use one door each.

15.  Each player will receive a takeaway gift.

 

16.  ZERO TOLERANCE - abusive behavior on or off the ice (physical or verbal) conducted by any player, team official, game official or fan, directed at any other player, team official, game official or fan, or tournament organizer will not be accepted.  Such activities will result in expulsion from the tournament and arena.

 17. All Decisions of the Tournament Organizers are FINAL.
