U13 LL 2 (Georgian Shores Minor Hockey)

Fall is quickly approaching, and we need our members to help us give back to the Apple Harvest Craft Show.  The craft show is always willing to support Georgian Shores, and they need our help this year, not just in the kitchen, but also with overnight security.  We have over 200 players this year, and we need to fill 60 volunteer spots. Start the process here: OHF Vulnerable Sector Check Organize your documents and get a Vulnerable Sector Check. Register your Hockey Canada Registry (HCR) number and start the OHF Screening Process. Upload your VSC and required documents in PDF format. Check your HCR account for updates after submission.  A huge thank you to all the incredible volunteers who make the GSMHA community thrive! 

Registration for Rep Evaluations (Tryouts) is now open! New this season, there will be a $30 registration fee for players to participate in evaluations for the rep teams. Please be sure to pre-register online before the first evaluation by selecting the appropriate link below for your age group. The evaluation schedule is posted on the Georgian Shores website. 

Calling all U15 & U18 players wanting to attend the Evaluations for the Rep level teams, you MUST complete the Body Checking Clinic. This clinic is covered by the Association, and is free to the players. The clinic runs Mon Sept 23 & Tues Sept 24 in Thornbury. U15 will be at 7:00pm U18 will be at 8:30pm Please register here. 

Hello Lightning Families We are still in need of a Treasurer, Time Keeper Scheduler and a Referee Scheduler. If you are interested in any of these positions, please email Mark Cronin @ [email protected]. This season we will also be asking for one parent from each team to join the following committees for the season: Tournament Committee, Sponsorship Committee & Banquet Committee.  Volunteers are the backbone of our organization!
